Pediatric Dentist serving Austin, TX

“Superior Care and Expertise for your child’s dental needs”

Children's Dentist Austin, TX No matter what age you are, getting your teeth cleaned regularly by a dentist is important. At Lonestar Pediatric Dental, serving the Austin and surrounding Texas areas, we offer children dental care services. At our office, we want to start children with a good foundation for proper oral health. By bringing your children to our office as early as one year of age, a routine will be set in place that will help your child with proper oral health. It is a common misconception for people that your child’s teeth will be fine since they will eventually fall out anyways. That way of thinking is not good. It’s important to maintain the health of your child’s baby, or primary teeth. Neglecting these teeth can lead to problems developing permanent teeth. Lone Star Pediatric Dental goes above and beyond to make each dental visit an experience free from stress and filled with fun.  As always parents can accompany their children for exams, hygiene treatments, and operative work to provide the comfort they need. We are Proudly In-Network with most insurance companies including:  Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Delta Dental, CHIP, Dental Select, Humana, United Healthcare, United Concordia, Medicaid, Metlilfe, Assurant, MCNA, DentaQuest, and more!If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in austin, LSPD is here to help!   Diagnosing and treating small problems early on help prevent them from turning into larger problems. When you bring your children into our dental office for routine cleanings, we will let you know if we think your child would benefit from braces as some signs of orthodontic problems may not be obvious. Whether your child has early or late loss of teeth, engages in finger sucking, has crowded teeth, misaligned teeth, difficulty chewing, or other symptoms, it may be a good idea to look into kid’s braces. Before getting braces, your child may need a palatal expander in order to prepare for the braces. After getting their braces, your child’s teeth may feel a little bulkier and it can take a day or two to become accustomed to them. Our dentist will explain the importance of taking care of teeth with braces by taking extra care with hard foods, minimizing sugar intake, and more. For more information about kid’s braces or to schedule a consultation, please call our office today.

The best Pediatric dentist ever! They all have spectacular customer service skills. The are the bomb.com when it comes to reminders. Even when my daughter was born about a week later they called immediately and set up her 6 month check up... That is AWESOME! Hands down the best, and they are so informative. They give you alternatives unlike some other dentists.

We had a such a positive experience at LSPD! The staff including the receptionist, hygienist, x-ray tech and dentist were extremely nice and great with kids. They make the kids laugh and have fun prizes. The facility is clean and the service is fast! We will be going here forever!!

Great Experience!!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, at the Central Austin location. All the staff was really nice. Hygentist Sandra and Dr. Valirie worked well with my 3 year old. She felt very comfortable with the all staff. I really like that fact they all staff talk to the child and got her engaged and not just to the parent. Thanks again, Central Austin staff!!

The staff at Lone Star Pediatric Dental are great with children and being a mother of three, I found that the staff were very accommodating. I have finally found a dentist that my kids feel comfortable with. All three children, ages 11, 8, 6, mentioned how they wanted to go back.
