Pediatric Dentist serving Austin, TX

“Superior Care and Expertise for your child’s dental needs”

Children's Dentist Austin, TX No matter what age you are, getting your teeth cleaned regularly by a dentist is important. At Lonestar Pediatric Dental, serving the Austin and surrounding Texas areas, we offer children dental care services. At our office, we want to start children with a good foundation for proper oral health. By bringing your children to our office as early as one year of age, a routine will be set in place that will help your child with proper oral health. It is a common misconception for people that your child’s teeth will be fine since they will eventually fall out anyways. That way of thinking is not good. It’s important to maintain the health of your child’s baby, or primary teeth. Neglecting these teeth can lead to problems developing permanent teeth. Lone Star Pediatric Dental goes above and beyond to make each dental visit an experience free from stress and filled with fun.  As always parents can accompany their children for exams, hygiene treatments, and operative work to provide the comfort they need. We are Proudly In-Network with most insurance companies including:  Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Delta Dental, CHIP, Dental Select, Humana, United Healthcare, United Concordia, Medicaid, Metlilfe, Assurant, MCNA, DentaQuest, and more!If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in austin, LSPD is here to help!   Diagnosing and treating small problems early on help prevent them from turning into larger problems. When you bring your children into our dental office for routine cleanings, we will let you know if we think your child would benefit from braces as some signs of orthodontic problems may not be obvious. Whether your child has early or late loss of teeth, engages in finger sucking, has crowded teeth, misaligned teeth, difficulty chewing, or other symptoms, it may be a good idea to look into kid’s braces. Before getting braces, your child may need a palatal expander in order to prepare for the braces. After getting their braces, your child’s teeth may feel a little bulkier and it can take a day or two to become accustomed to them. Our dentist will explain the importance of taking care of teeth with braces by taking extra care with hard foods, minimizing sugar intake, and more. For more information about kid’s braces or to schedule a consultation, please call our office today.

AMAZING SERVICE!

My 3 year old was seen for an emergency situation and had to have unexpected work done which was very traumatic for a 3 year old and myself. The whole office made sure we were both taken care of during our visit. I will definitely be back for regular visits with all of my children! Thanks so much to the staff!

Patient and Caring!

Sep 14, 2015 by Dani Ramirez

I took my daughter last month for an overdue visit. We had a horrible experience at our last dentist and my daughter asked to not go back. I took a chance and called the new Kyle location and booked our visit. Dr. Dana and Josie were absolutely wonderful. My daughter was beyond anxious and tried stopping the cleaning a few times. Josie was patient and not once made me or my daughter feel bad. She was encouraging and better yet, finished the cleaning! We did go back for some work a week after and again, nothing but the best from Dr. Dana and Josie. My daughter is now excited about keeping those teeth clean and going back! Thank you!!
