Pediatric Dentist serving Austin, TX

“Superior Care and Expertise for your child’s dental needs”

Children's Dentist Austin, TX No matter what age you are, getting your teeth cleaned regularly by a dentist is important. At Lonestar Pediatric Dental, serving the Austin and surrounding Texas areas, we offer children dental care services. At our office, we want to start children with a good foundation for proper oral health. By bringing your children to our office as early as one year of age, a routine will be set in place that will help your child with proper oral health. It is a common misconception for people that your child’s teeth will be fine since they will eventually fall out anyways. That way of thinking is not good. It’s important to maintain the health of your child’s baby, or primary teeth. Neglecting these teeth can lead to problems developing permanent teeth. Lone Star Pediatric Dental goes above and beyond to make each dental visit an experience free from stress and filled with fun.  As always parents can accompany their children for exams, hygiene treatments, and operative work to provide the comfort they need. We are Proudly In-Network with most insurance companies including:  Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Delta Dental, CHIP, Dental Select, Humana, United Healthcare, United Concordia, Medicaid, Metlilfe, Assurant, MCNA, DentaQuest, and more!If you are looking for a pediatric dentist in austin, LSPD is here to help!   Diagnosing and treating small problems early on help prevent them from turning into larger problems. When you bring your children into our dental office for routine cleanings, we will let you know if we think your child would benefit from braces as some signs of orthodontic problems may not be obvious. Whether your child has early or late loss of teeth, engages in finger sucking, has crowded teeth, misaligned teeth, difficulty chewing, or other symptoms, it may be a good idea to look into kid’s braces. Before getting braces, your child may need a palatal expander in order to prepare for the braces. After getting their braces, your child’s teeth may feel a little bulkier and it can take a day or two to become accustomed to them. Our dentist will explain the importance of taking care of teeth with braces by taking extra care with hard foods, minimizing sugar intake, and more. For more information about kid’s braces or to schedule a consultation, please call our office today.

Best Dentist Visit Ever!

Aug 07, 2015 by Vanessa Alvarez

As everyone knows dentist and Dr. visits can be draining. But Today's visit was a positive experience. The office is soo kid friendly I really enjoyed the different themed rooms. I felt like I had won something when I left.

Best Customer Service

Jul 10, 2015 by Erica Hernandez

In calling for an emergency 1st time visit, Vanessa at the front desk was able to get my 3 yr old in the same day. I was so happy to see all the smiling faces and a sense of true concern for our situation. Dr. Dana and her nurse took great care with my daughter and the next day Dr. Valerie took care of to resolve the issue. It was stress free or me and Dad to know that our daughter was in such great care. I can't say enough how much I appreciate the care that the South office provided to us from beginning to end.

Great experience!

Mar 11, 2015 by Kristen W.

\"We have had a great experience with Lone Star Pediatric Dental. We go to the Lakeway office and have never waited long to be seen. The hygienists and dentists have always been very patient and kind with my kids. I have one child who is very sensitive and deals with some oral sensory issues and they have worked with him each visit to get him through it. The front office staff has always been friendly and easy to work with. I feel as though they have been conservative in their treatment plans with my boys, and I really love that. I have been very happy with the service we have received from Lone Star Pediatric Dental during the last 3 years.”
